NYFW 2016

During her MFA thesis in 2016 at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Melody Hesaraky collaborated with Lindsay Trueman, another Academy of Art University MFA Fashion Student, and created a clothing collection. The project focused on exploring past textiles and integrating innovative techniques and artistry to rejuvenate these materials. Hesaraky's approach emphasized sustainability, showcasing new methods of utilizing textiles to mitigate waste. By reimagining traditional fabrics, the collection not only celebrated their history but also highlighted the potential for reducing environmental impact through thoughtful design.
