Shiraz

Shiraz is the third installment in Melody Hesaraky's series highlighting the magnificence of Iran. Known as the city of poets, Shiraz was part of the Zoroastrian Achaemenid Empire established by Cyrus the Great.

Its rose gardens tell stories of ancient civilizations and romantic poetry, while the remnants of former grandeur echo in the impressive historic ruins of Persepolis. A lively tapestry interlaced with history and the alluring fragrance of Bahar Narenj (Orange Spring), this photo series by Hesaraky offers an exploration into the essence of Iran's spirit.
